Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad also undertakes activities in the livestock sector under joint venture with Kamran Livestock Sdn Bhd and also Huge Goal Sdn Bhd where cattle breeding project at Sungai Laka, Bukit Kayu Hitam and brine breeding in Pulau Menghulu, Langkawi.
Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad has agreed to sign an agreement with Huge Goals Sdn Bhd company since 2015. While agreeing with the agreement with Livestock Kamran Sdn Bhd in 2017. The cattle-breeding project at Sungai Laka, Bukit Kayu Hitam has not been implemented and is expected to be carried out during the year 2017.
The plantation sector is one of the key sectors that contributes to the increase of revenue from the Menteri Besar of Kedah Incorporated through the farms managed by Kedah Agro. Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad has been tasked with managing lands owned by Menteri Besar Kedah Incorporated at Gunung Inas Ladang located in Kupang, Baling while Bukit Kachi Farm in Changlun and also Ladang Mahang is also located in Selama, Kedah.
The Inas Mount Farm has been in operation since October 2011 a land area of more than 477 hectares while Ladang Bukit Kachi was first managed in July 2011 and has a land area of more than 337.16 hectares as well as a farm in Mahang has a land area of more than 40 hectares since it began in January 2012. Despite the decline in rubber prices and palm oil, efforts have continued to increase the breadth and productivity of the sector.
The agricultural sector is one of the sectors that is the main pillar of an economic resource increase to Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad where Kedah Agro conducts crop activities such as papaya, banana, coconut and pumpkin at Bukit Tangga farm, Changlun. The farm is 811 acres of land and jointly cultivated.
- A total of 500 acres was jointly undertaken with Tropical Precious Sdn Bhd through Kedah Exotic Fruits Sdn Bhd since 2011. Plants cultivated are papaya, bananas, and coconut.
- A total of 120 acres will be jointly developed with OG Global Venture Sdn Bhd from 2016. Plants that are cultivated are pumpkin.
- The remaining areas were planted with coconut plants by Kedah Agro.
